Came across this useful trick where you can use notepad as a logger and write down important notes with date and time that are automatically inserted in the file.
Basically -
1. Open notepad and type .LOG in the first line. Close the file and open it again. Now you should see time and date. For example - 10:17 AM 10/18/2007
2. Just type your notes and save the file. Everytime when you type and save the file, you will see time and date for the entry.
