How to Download Videos (Youtube etc)
There have been several requests for music videos in this forum but you can’t download files from these sites in the normal way…so I’ve made this little tutorial to show how to do it. icon_smile.gif
1. View your video in your browser, or right-click on the image of the video and ‘Save link as…’
2. Copy and paste the link eg:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQ6I4ROIlqQ
3. Go to this web page:
4. Paste the video link into the textbox provided at the top of the page.
5. Link appears:
6. Right-click on download link and ‘Save link as…’ and this box will appear:
7. Change file name to any name and make sure it is a ‘.flv. file:
8. Save that file
9. You now have a flv file that can play in any flv player. There’s a free one here, or look on Google:

10. If you want to convert this flv file to avi or mpg etc, or if you want to rip the audio you need software. I suggest ‘Total Video converter’
