I’ve been using firefox for almost 2 years now and I really wanted to switch back to IE 7, but so damn hard to let go for Firefox. Here are few reasons why I truly love firefox
1.) No 1 reason for loving firefox is “noscript” addon. Noscript is a firefox extension that prevents javascripts from running and it gives you the option to allow certain domains to run javascript. Overtime, you will build a database of sites that you trust and prevent sites that you don’t trust. This way your computer is safe from all the nasty stuff that is out there on the net.
You can download the noscript here - http://noscript.net/
2.) Ease of use - I love the fact that you can simply type the keyword in the url field and it will directly take you to the website. For example, instead of typing the whole url, you can simply type “gmail” in the url field and it will directly take you to the gmail website. Very time saving
3.) Last one is the password saving option. You can save multiple login information for the same site. Everytime, when you enter login information, firefox will ask you if you want to save it, not now or never. I love this because you can tell firefox to never show password saving option for very important sites like banks etc. So, after you tell firefox to save the login information, all you have to do is type the first letter of the email or username and rest of the information will pop up and all you have to do is select it. I have multiple logins for google services and this allows me to save all of them and save me some time.
